Critique Paper

Every day with My Morrie: a Critique Paper

The writer puts the mood to a melancholic tone that made the entire paper to have an overwhelming emotion. Although there are some parts of it where the writer blended it with a humorous tone but handles to stick with its objective. It is indeed a great piece of writing since the author did a great job of making the readers feel what they deserve. The main idea is on point and crystal clear.  It is a great idea too that the writer used some quotations that leads to another side of the story.

I thought that the writer will not specify to whom she is going to dedicate the writings. But at the end, the writer surprisingly mentioned the name. The writer amazingly illustrated what she really wants to say that the emotion of the entire paper fulfilled one’s heart.  Indeed the writer outlined the flow of the paper by aligning every detail she remembers and every memory she had with Lolita Lopez Cabangbang.

The writer elaborated how she and Cabangbang are connected to each other. The writer considered the reader’s needs because she openly shared the moments she had with this person even though it feels like it is way too personal to open up about. But she simply guided the readers by narrating a brief summary of their friendship.

I was surprised when she changed the mood before she ended her writing. It is like the writer do not want the readers to shed a tear that she also held hers. And lastly, the entire paper gave a realization to each and every reader that everyone do come and go but as long as we are with them, we should cherish every moment until our last breath.
